Jenver Esnara Kimbungan, a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture graduate of Benguet State University, a native of Tublay and Atok, Benguet, married to Jayne Budas from Bakun, Benguet, with two loving daughters, is the owner and founder of one of the fastest growing Agri Marketing businesses in Benguet.
He was formerly a Farm Extension Specialist himself way back 2011-2013 for a private corporation selling foliar fertilizers to farmers in Benguet. From 2014-2016, he worked as a sales agent selling plastic sheets for greenhouses. Through these experiences, he observed that farming industries had been practicing traditional farming techniques that left farmers with high expenses and lower profits.
With the initiative and goal to help these farmers, he came up with the idea of establishing a company that would focus on the sustainable use of foliar fertilizers in order to reduce expenses but at the same time improved their yield for higher profitability.
He named this company as Encam Agri Marketing. “Encam” is an Ibaloi word that means “it’s yours”. This is to give emphasis on creating a circle of belongingness among its constituents specifically the farmers.
Encam Agri Marketing dates back to its first area in Benguet in 2017 with only three employees. And now has more than thirty (30) employees all over the Philippines with areas in La Union, Pangasinan, Nueva Viscaya, Nueva Ecija, Isabela Province, Quezon Province, Bukidnon, Zamboanga, and Iloilo.
“To be the nation’s most successful and important Agri Marketing Company. Successful in helping our farmers utilize innovative farm products for all types of crops. Successful in yielding more opportunity and employment to the Filipino people. Important because we will continue to be the basic resource of much of what is invested in the Agriculture Industry.”
